Premier Bookkeeping is managed by Paul Barron, FMAAT.

Paul is a Fellow Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and an Associate Member of the Association of Charity Independent Examiners (ACIE).

Paul has worked within the accountancy profession since 1991. He trained with a large independent practice in Newcastle upon Tyne, before spending almost ten years with a small practice in Hexham and then working as a manager within a top-30 national accountancy firm.

Pauls experience includes accounts preparation, VAT returns, payroll, bookkeeping and associated personal & business taxation matters for a wide range of clients. Paul has worked with a variety of different manual and computerised bookkeeping systems. He specialises in QuickBooks and has been responsible for installing this system for clients and then providing training and ongoing consultancy when required.

Paul was also the Treasurer and a Director of a charitable company managing a local pre-school nursery from 2005 - 2009. This voluntary role gave Paul valuable experience of the day to day issues involved in running a small charity.
